Weekly activities for the duration of 17 March to 23 March 2023

Public hearings on Legal Aid Issue:
The objective of the event was to improve the understanding among the government, police makers, local leaders, and the relevant institution members. Through the question-and-answer session of the event community, people will get free legal advice on various issues like land disputes, family disputes, financial disputes, etc. It will help them solve their problem. This event will help to implement the lobby and advocacy program and the attitude of all relevant people will change in a positive way.

Public hearings on the Legal Aid Issue:
Md. Amirul Islam, Chairman, Amua Union Parishad, Kathalia, Jhalokathi, 01716-896838 Said that- I have been serving the public for the past 25 years as a chairman. Today’s activity is very exception to other development activities. It is like a dream for me that a judge came to a Union Parishad and spoke directly to the mass people about the legal aid issue. People must benefit from today’s event. I request PPJ to arrange this activity quarterly or bi-Month in our Upazila and Union.

Facilitation and monitoring of bi-Month Meeting of UZLAC:

We the UPLAC members have great responsibilities to serve the deprived people. So that we should do our duties and responsibilities properly. So that poor people can get benefit from this service.
